| The Naga Chronicles - Ep1 |
The sea never forgot.
For thousands of years, it guarded a secret buried deeper than the darkest trenches...... A kingdom untouched by time, ruled by beings whose existence had become nothing more than myth.
Most people called them legends.
Others called them monsters.
Only a handful of ancient texts dared to write their true name...
Nāga.
The waves crashed violently against the cliffs of the western coast as twenty-eight-year-old marine archaeologist Sean stood alone, staring into the endless ocean.
He had spent his entire career searching for civilizations that history refused to acknowledge.
His colleagues laughed whenever he mentioned underwater kingdoms.
"Atlantis," they joked.
"Mermaids next?"
But Sean wasn't searching for fairy tales.
He was searching for proof.
His late grandfather had left behind a weathered journal filled with strange drawings of serpent-shaped crowns, underwater temples, and a single sentence repeated dozens of times:
"When the sea remembers your name, never answer."
Sean never understood what it meant.
Until today.
The sonar equipment suddenly went silent.
Every monitor aboard the research vessel flickered before shutting off completely.
Then...
The ocean became unnaturally still.
No waves.
No wind.
No birds.
Only silence.
His assistant, Maya, looked around nervously.
"Sir... have you ever seen the sea stop moving?"
Sean shook his head.
"No."
Then it happened.
A voice.
Soft.
Ancient.
It wasn't coming through the speakers.
It was inside his mind.
"Sean..."
He spun around.
Nobody.
"You have returned."
His heartbeat thundered in his chest.
Maya grabbed his arm.
"Did you hear that?"
"Hear what?"
"You just... answered someone."
"I didn't."
"You whispered."
"I never spoke."
She slowly stepped away.
Fear filled Maya's eyes.
The sonar suddenly roared back to life.
A massive structure appeared beneath the seabed.
Not a shipwreck.
Not rock.
A city.
Stretching farther than the machines could measure.
Massive pillars.
Golden rooftops.
Circular temples.
Entire streets.
Hidden beneath centuries of ocean.
Sean's breathing stopped.
"No..."
His hands trembled.
"This is impossible."
The computer estimated the city to be nearly five thousand years old.
Yet every building remained perfectly intact.
As if someone still lived there.
That night, despite warnings of an approaching storm, Aarav insisted on diving.
The water felt strangely warm.
Almost welcoming.
His flashlight cut through the darkness as he descended toward the ruins.
Twenty meters.
Thirty.
Forty.
Then...
He saw it.
A colossal stone gate carved into the ocean floor.
Two giant serpents coiled around its pillars, their emerald eyes appearing almost alive.
In the center was an inscription in a language Sean had never studied...
Yet somehow...
He understood every word.
"Only the Blood of the First Covenant may enter."
Before he could react, the gate began to glow.
The ocean around him vibrated.
Tiny bubbles spiraled upward.
The stone doors slowly opened.
From the darkness beyond...
Two golden eyes stared back at him.
Not fish.
Not human.
Watching.
Waiting.
Then a graceful figure emerged.
The upper body was unmistakably human, adorned with shimmering emerald jewelry and ancient gold.
Below the waist...
A powerful serpent's tail moved effortlessly through the water, its scales reflecting blue and green light like living gemstones.
The being's gaze held neither anger nor fear.
Only recognition.
"You came back," she said, her voice echoing inside his mind.
Sean froze.
"I... I don't know you."
She smiled sadly.
"No."
"You only forgot."
She extended her hand.
"My name is Princess Ananta of Nāga-Loka."
"The last time we met..."
"...the world above was still young."
